- Issues 61 through 67 of this title are mostly retelling of origins of the major players in All-Star Squadron. This is a retelling of the origin of Robotman with new details, told for John Law's book on the Mystery Men of World War II. It is presumed that John (Tarantula) Law (and possibly others) is present during Robotman's relating of his origins, but Law is unseen during this issue.
- This issue also contains a publishing history of the Golden Age Robotman.
Synopsis:
When Robert Crane is mortally wounded by some crooks who are trying to steal one of his creations, his assistant must implant Crane's brain in a robotic shell to save his life. Crane thus becomes Robotman and even though he has a hard time coming to terms with his new appearance he goes on a quest to clear his assistant's name and find his "killers".
