Synopsis:

Batgirl has investigated a series of murders from home invasions, and stops the group, The Brisby Killers, during another attempt. She moves from the apartment of her father, James Gordon, into a new apartment with a roommate, Alysia Yeoh. Meanwhile, a new villain named The Mirror is killing people that he apparently believes deserve to die due to having survived previous near-death experiences. Barbara receives a police report (she hacked her father's text messages) that the new villain is attempting to murder a surviving member of The Brisby Killers (who nearly fell out a window during his encounter with Batgirl. Two police officers, including Mel McKenna, also respond to the scene. The Mirror throws the surviving member of The Brisby Killers from the hospital window. Batgirl does not help him, because she is momentarily paralyzed with fear due to the fact that the villain pointed a gun near her spinal area.
