Synopsis: - Having only just arrived back in Hollywood, Garfield Logan is wondering whether he should really have returned. He and the rest of the former Space Trek 2022 cast are no longer hot property, and his fame as a hero doesn't seem to extend that far either. He gets involved in a nasty outbreak of violence when a group of passers-by suddenly turn on him, and he discovers that his 'screenwriter' cousin is basically just a bum. Elsewhere, Elizabeth Kane sees footage of Gar's return to L.A., and assumes that he is there to reform the Titans West group, a team she used to be a part of as Flamebird.
- Garfield is taken by his cousin, Matt, to a nightclub (which they find it very difficult to enter), where Gar is accosted by an obsessive fangirl, whom he rebuffs. This girl is then manhandled by an older man, but insists she does not want Garfield's help. He, however, follows the two of them outside, where he is knocked out by a giant green fist and then wakes up next to the older man's dead body, surrounded by police.
