Synopsis: - Changeling is arrested for murder, and Flamebird attempts to come to his rescue, but doesn't have the 25,000 dollars bail money needed. Nightwing also hears about Gar's incarceration (via Oracle) and makes his way to Hollywood. Spotting a doppelganger in the crowd outside the police station, Gar gives chase, just as Vicky, a former star of Space Trek, is attacked by a big green bear. Back at his cousin Matt's place, he is himself attacked by mercenaries Fear and Loathing, who have been hired to "keep him busy" for a time; long enough for Vicky's disappearance to be discovered and for the police to come after him once more.
- Elsewhere, Donny Dickerson is deeply worried that he will be the next victim of Logan's killing spree. He is reassured by the police that Gar is in custody, but then finds himself faced by the alleged murderer, who is then interrupted by Nightwing.
