Synopsis: - While Batman investigates fellow Justice Leaguer Firestorm and the Nuclear Man's recurring blackouts, Jason Bard investigates Martin Stein. Batman discovers the nuclear pile which exploded in the creation of Firestorm also became alive and now has developed sentience. Bard has been hired by Stein's employer, Concordance Research, to learn if he is a risk for some of their high security projects as the physicist has a habit of disappearing.
