The Vertigo group of indexes will only include Vertigo-related series published after the maxiseries Crisis on Infinite Earths that revamped the DC universe.

Series that have begun as DC Universe titles but have ended up as Vertigo titles, such as Swamp Thing and Doom Patrol, will be indexed in full, with a comment stating which issue that was the first Vertigo-issue of that title. Unless otherwise noted the indexes will include all Annuals, Specials and Mini-Series associated with that title.

The Vertigo group indexes will for the forseeable future only include series that feature old and new DC characters that reside in the darker part of the DC Universe (under the Vertigo imprint), and as such might still to some extent interact with the regular DC Universe series.
