HISTORY

Born in Hong Kong, Weng Chan moved with his family to San Francisco in the early 1930s. During World War II, he distinguished himself as a pilot and member of the famous Blackhawks squadron. Chan continued to serve with the team on and off until the 1970s. He is still alive and currently active as Chairman of the Board of Blackhawk Express. As such, he has worked together with Hawkman (Katar Hol) against Killer Shark. Though he always hated the nickname "Chop-Chop", this is the name that Weng Chan is mainly remembered by today.
