The events in this issue take place four days after the events in the previous issue.

Synopsis:

The Charlatan attacks Jim Gordon in the middle of a class at Gotham State University, and leaves a scarred coin at the scene. Batman talks to Two-Face, who initially claims to know nothing about the situation, but when he learns Gordon was attacked, he tells Batman to ask the Penguin about it. Batman goes in search of the Penguin, but discovers him at death's door with a scarred coin clutched in his hand.
