Synopsis: - A new designer drug with a high mortality rate has hit the streets of Gotham and Batman is determined to bring a stop to it. Batgirl is perturbed, as she feels Batman is being more intense and violent than usual on this particular day, and she wonders if it has anything to do with the Spoiler, who Batman recently told to stop adventuring. However, she and Batman later talk about Jason Todd, the fallen Robin, as it would have been his eighteenth birthday today. It's too late for either Batman or Batgirl to go back and have a normal, safe life, but Batman wonders if it might be possible for Spoiler.

Synopsis: - The Tailor confronts the man who is holding his daughter and others hostage on the subway, and it transpires that they do know one another, with the man - Rex - believing that the Tailor double-crossed him some time back, though the Tailor swears this is not true. He manages to rescue his daughter, and afterwards tells Batman that he did not know the man.
