He has taken a young, pregnant girl and tries to force a priest to marry them before the Ventriloquist's men attack. Meanwhile, Robin is unable to save Theresa Cushing from her husband, but prevents the man killing the couple's adopted son. When prevented, Mr. Cushing jumps from a high window, but there is no body. When Batman catches up with Mister Freeze, he finds himself facing snipers (one of them damages Freeze's helmet) and a bunch of men in outlandish masks.
