Comment(s):

Story continues from the previous issue.
Dr. Manhattan undoes the changes he made to the DC Universe resulting in the JSA once again becoming part of the DC Universe timeline and Clark Kent once again having been Superboy, resulting in him saving the life of his parents, who as a result are still alive in the present.
It is also revealed that whenever there is a change in the Metaverse the Multiverse grows. When Barry Allen was struck by lightning and the Speed Force was created and Superman's timeline was moved forward resulting in a divide of reality and the creation of the Multiverse, and within it Earth-2 was created to preserve the past of the Metaverse. With the first Crisis reality was split again and Earth-1 would become Earth-1985, as the pre-Crisis history of the Metaverse would be preserved. Similar splits would happen throughout the history of the Metaverse and would happen again in the future.

Solicitation:

This is it! The final showdown between Dr. Manhattan and Superman shakes up the DC Universe to its very core! But can even the Man of Steel walk out from the shadow of Manhattan?
