OVERVIEW

A native of the planet Apokolips, Lashina is one of the planet's shock troopers – the Female Furies – specializing in the offensive use of various metal lashes tied around her body. HISTORY

A native of the planet Apokolips, Lashina is one of the planet's shock troopers – the Female Furies – specializing in the offensive use of various metal lashes tied around her body. Through the years, she has constantly challenged the leadership of the Furies longtime leader Bernadeth, who became the leader of the Furies after Big Barda defected to the side of good.

While rescuing Glorious Godfrey, Lashina contracted amnesia and spent some time on Earth as 'Duchess', a member of the Suicide Squad. As the Duchess, she later led this group on a disastrous mission to Apokolips in order to challenge Bernadeth. After killing Bernadeth, Lashina became the new leader of the Female Furies, but her tenure became brief as Darkseid killed her. She was later brought back to life by Darkseid, and she has slowly begun climbing the Apokolips pecking order since.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Like all Female Furies, Lashina has undergone basic military training at the hand of Granny Goodness. During her stint in the Suicide Squad as the Duchess, she also displayed a proclivity for using firearms.

Lashina's special powers lie in the ability of talent for using steel bands or lashes offensively. These lashes are wrapped around her body when she is not using them for whipping, strangling or holding her victims.
