Green Lantern Theodoric is introduced as the Green Lantern of Sector 3930, which is beyond the Guardians' established 3600 sectors. This puts a Lantern further out than Lantern Orlan of Sector 3897.

Solicitation:

Synopsis:

Guy Gardner is called to Oa where he will assemble a team of Lanterns to eliminate a monstrous enemy of the Green Lantern Corps. Already the creature has destroyed a number of Sector Houses and the Lanterns within.
The Guardians explain how following the destruction of Mogo, a piece of the planetform Green Lantern was hurled into Sector 3597 where it broke open the prison of the Gigorr. The creature consumes the energy of the rings and now that it has been unleashed it is on a path to Oa.
Gardner and his fellow Lanterns are attacked by the creature and casualties rise rapidly. Realizing their comrades were not immediately killed, Gardner and Lantern Theodoric willing enter the literal belly of the beast where their fellow Lanterns are slowly being digested but not killed as the Gigorr is feeding off their ring energy. Gardner connects to their rings, feeding his and Theodoric's power to them, incinerating the Gigorr from the inside out. The beast explodes, with only the two Lanterns surviving.
