Synopsis:
Vampires strike the city of St. Roch, largely in order to get Hawkman's attention. To his horror, he discovers that their leader is a man he knew in a previous life, a soldier he believed had died on a battle-field, but who had survived only to become a vampire. This vampire, Gray, attacks Hawkgirl, hoping to transform her into a vampire as well, but Hawkman is able to corner the vampires in an office building, where he blesses the water in the basement tanks and sets off the fire alarm, causing the vampires to be doused in holy water and destroyed. Hawkgirl is also present, the holy water removing the vampiric influence.
