Synopsis:
Hawkgirl searches for information about the 'angel killer' while Hawkman is being questioned by Detective Grubs as a suspect in this run of killings. The Atom tries to talk Hawkman into accepting legal help from the JSA or JLA, but is refused. Later, Domina Paris is attacked by the creature responsible for the angel killings, and although Hawkgirl tries to save here, the intereference of the police ensures that it gets away with Domina. Hawkgirl escapes from the police van and persuades Officer Isabella to give Hawkman the means to escape himself, in order to track down his lover's abductor.
