Synopsis:
Spurred on by a remembrance of a past life as a slave, Hawkman rebels against his captors, joined by Aalok who claims that he allowed himself to be captured in order to gain freedom for the rest of his people. Danny Evans tells Kendra that he knows less about her parents' death than she thought, and reminds her that they have more pressing concerns - they regain the Third Eye of Shiva and use it to reopen the gate to the Battlelands. Here, Hawkman is aiding the Komeriah in their fight against the Makhna; they are grateful for his help, but tell him that their main aim is respect, which they can only gain by continuing the fight alone. The Hawks and Danny return to St. Roch with the Third Eye of Shiva for the museum's collection.
Roderic is angry about his failure, but prepared to bide his time. And Chief Nedal is determined to catch the person who has been killing those in positions of power in the city.
