Synopsis: - Triumph takes out Steel when he arrives on the Watchtower, though he is unable to capture him completely. Back on Earth, the JSA survivors attempt to simultaneously stay alive, help civilians and teach J.J. how to control the thunderbolt. Elsewhere, Zauriel and Sentinel make the decision to speed up the passing of time on the Spectre's prison world in order to free it, and Batman contacts Aquaman regarding Quisp, a 5th dimensional being that Aquaman has had previous contact with.
- In the 5th dimension itself, Green Lantern and Captain Marvel encounter Qwsp (as he is actually called) who has caused the war between Yz and Lkz for 'fun', having decided to become more deadly in imitation of Aquaman, his adversary. Qwsp then travels to Central City and demands that one of Huntress, Hippolyta or Wildcat must give their life to show J.J. the meaning of heroism.
- Triumph heads for Earth, with Gypsy and The Ray in tow, in order to 'save the day.'
