- The origin and history of the Homo Magus, ancestors of the Hidden Ones, is revealed. The Homo Magus are said to be a branch of the human race, at one with the forces of nature. They were fewer in number and dwindled out due to a strange genetic attraction between Homo Sapiens and Homo Magus. This intermarriage diluted the magical abilities of the Homo Magus.
