Synopsis: - A Los Angeles defense counselor manages to persuade a jury that the killer Copperhead should go free, much to prosecutor Kate Spencer's disgust. When Copperhead escapes less than one day later, killing the guards who were transporting him to a research facility, she decides that something must be done. Using equipment confiscated from other super-villains, Kate goes on the prowl as Manhunter. She encounters Copperhead in the sewers and kills him, doing what she believes should have been done long ago.
