Synopsis:

J'onn checks in with some of the various cover identities he maintains only to find that people the D.E.O. have been inquiring after him in each of them. He meets Cameron Chase and the Director of the North Eastern branch of the Department and finds himself blackmailed: the Director threatens to reveal all of his cover identities to the world unless he uncovers for them the secret identities of the JLA. J'onn refuses to do so, and Chase has to reveal the information to the press. However, having discovered that J'onn, in one of his earliest identities (Justice Experience member Bronze Wraith) had the respect of her father (the Acro-Bat), she does not give over the entire list, leaving him several identities of which the public are completely unaware.
Public reaction to the news is anger, but not directed at J'onn, rather at the D.E.O. for releasing the information, various people feeling that they will no longer have his friendship and protection. The D.E.O. claims that this disclosure was unauthorized, leaving all of the blame with Cameron Chase.
