Most of this story is a flashback to the early days of the JLI. It may or may not actually have happened.

Synopsis:

J'onn tells his JLA colleagues Green Lantern and Wonder Woman about one of his less glorious moments whilst a member of the Justice League International team co-ordinated by Max Lord. Booster Gold and Blue Beetle thought it might be fun to hide J'onn's supply of Choco cookies. And to buy up the whole supply of every shop within a mile or so of the JLI Embassy. To their surprise, when J'onn cannot find his cookies he loses a little of his placidity and becomes a hulking behemoth, a veritable cookie monster, particularly once he discovers the culprits. They are able to escape his wrath and lead him to the warehouse where they have stockpiled the cookies, where Maxwell Lord finds them.
After chastising Booster and Beetle, Lord (with the help of Batman) turns his attention to J'onn. He has developed an addiction to Chocos due to his alien body chemistry. Of course he denies this, but once he comes to terms with his addiction, he morphs his body around the chemicals and expels them. Unfortunately they take on a mite of sentience and become living addiction, taking over each League member in term and revealing their innermost cravings. J'onn finally zaps the creature away, demonstrating that addiction is most definitely no longer his master.
Wonder Woman questions the truth of the story once they are alone, and J'onn replies: 'It was an amusing story and it had a point to make. A good tale is its own justification -- true or not.
