HISTORY

"Planet Krypton" is a chain of super-hero themed restaurants owned by Michael Jon Carter (a.k.a. Booster Gold). One restaurant in Metropolis eventually grew into a very popular chain widely spread all over the USA.

The Metropolis joint features one of the biggest collections of super-hero memorabilia of all time. Its nostalgic value makes it a natural nexus point between "Hypertime realities", which is why the Challengers of the Unknown (I) has their secret HQ for studies of Hypertime phenomena in the basement of the building.
