OVERVIEW

Arguably the deadliest of the Flash's enemies, the sociopathic Eobard Thawne had attempted to gain the super-speed powers of his one-time idol. While he did gain powers, he has also twisted himself further into darker and darker acts. Not even his death and return to life have deterred him from this path. He now uses his powers to time travel and "edit" history to terrorize Barry Allen, all the while knowing he can never truly eliminate the Scarlet Speedster or Thawne will lose his powers as well.

HISTORY

BLACK LANTERN: REVERSE-FLASH

During the event known as the Blackest Night, heroes and villains alike returned from death as members of the Black Lantern Corps. The Reverse-Flash was one of twelve Black Lanterns to be given a second chance at life. - Blackest Night #8

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Along with super-speed, the Reverse-Flash has the remarkable ability to create changes in the timeline, be it his or others. He has used this power to kill his enemies, rivals, or anyone that has rejected him, but it has yet to be seen what the full cost will be to the overall history of the universe, especially due to his machinations in the early 21st Century.
