- The story presumably begins in the present in the "New 52" version of the "DC Universe" then carrying over to Star Trek's "Kelvin Timeline;", first introduced in the 2009 "Star Trek" movie. As this story picks up on Stardate 2262.67, it is placed after the 2013 movie Star Trek Into Darkness Stardate 2259.55.
