Chronologically, for the crew of the Enterprise, this story takes place some time after the Star Trek (The Original Series) episode "Requiem for Methuselah" which was set in the year 2269.
Lt. Commander Montgomery Scott does not appear in this issue's story.
Though many other Legionnaires may appear on the various issue covers of this series, unless notated in the indexing above they do not make an appearance within the story itself.
Story continued from the previous issue and continues in the next issue.

Solicitation:

Captain Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise have returned to Earth, but discover that it isn't the Earth they remember. And a group of Legionnaires stranded in the 23rd century find that history has changed around them. But can either team uncover what's gone wrong in time? And what will happen when they encounter each other?
