Synopsis: - Star-Spangled Kid, S.T.R.I.P.E., Shining Knight and Mike Dugan fight off Shiv and the other minions of the Dragon King at their home. S.T.R.I.P.E. declares that the Star-Spangled Kid mantle ought to be passed on officially - to Courtney. The three heroes then follow the trail of Shiv back to the Dragon King's lair, where they are, of course, expected. Here, Barbara is a prisoner of Principal Sherman, and the dragon King taunts Shining Knight with juicy details about the death of Firebrand. He is taking over the minds of all Blue Valley High's students, and once he has done so, begins to expand his sphere of influence. Case in point: the Star-Spangled Kid, who is ordered to kill S.T.R.I.P.E.
