Comment(s):

Venus is depicted as Earth-like, and inhabited by Pumpkin-Men, Cucumber-Men and Tomato-Girls. Even in 1962, this was pretty far-fetched from the actual conditions on Venus and therefore Superman may have traveled to a different world or it was an elaborate simulation..
