Comment(s):
- Aspects of the story told in flashback are likely apocryphal regarding Krypton's rotation or lack thereof. It is claimed in the time of Hex-Le and Kya-Ta, similar to the Bronze Age era on Earth, that Krypton is tidally locked while it circles the sun Rao. Life is said only to exist within Krypton's terminator, the edge where the side perpetually facing Rao meets the side facing away from Rao. This raises questions about Krypton having a magnetic field and/or being able to prevent the atmosphere from being dispersed into space, serious threats to complex lifeforms. In the story, the rotation of Krypton is established by the formerly warring tribes moving quantities of two unique opposing metals to either pole of Krypton, which seems rather unlikely given the conditions of Kryptonian life at in the time of the flashback.
