- Story continued from Adventures of Superman #626.
- Pages 14-16 happen 'weeks later'. Superman, Lois, Basqat (and another 'Grunt', who also appeared in all episodes of Godfall, but remained nameless) and Preus appear in both sections. Perry is behind the scenes in the 'weeks later' section only. Shire, Jigsaw and Lyla appear only on pages 1-13.
Synopsis: - Battle is joined. The non-Kryptonian Kandorians begin to die after exposure to Earth's atmosphere, and the deranged Preus fights both Superman and Lyla, who realises her wrong-doings and disappears from the scene. Some time later, Superman does his best to help right the societal wrongs in Kandor, and Preus is still 'out there', his hatred for Superman reaching a new peak.
