Synopsis:

On the Kent Farm in Hamilton County, Superboy attempts to fly, but instead falls to the ground. He begins racing his friend, Kathy Branden home as Superman watches Hamilton County from the sky. As Lois Lane gets the mail she sees Cobb Branden, Kathy's father and he warns her about a storm coming over the county soon. The Kents stay in their house awaiting the storm to pass over. Superman finds Batman and Robin hiding inside the barn and Jon sneaks in also, but is caught by Lois. She tells them to come inside to talk and she makes them pie. Batman tells them that something is holding Jon's abilities back and he suspects it's from the milk that he drinks that is made by Cobb. Batman investigates the milk from Bessie, Cobb Branden's prize-winning cow. The milk changes to a black goo that shatters the glass and engulfs Batman as he watches a figure walk towards him.
