Usage

Below is a copy of the Comic Title Index template used for title index pages, with explainations of the various template fields.

| title = Title of the series in question (Note: If a title begins with the definite article "The" it is stripped from the title)
| type = Which type of series is it: ongoing, limited, mini, maxi, special, one-shot
| imprint = Which imprint does the series belong to if any: New 52, Vertigo, ABC, Milestone, Young Animal, Wildstorm
| group = Which series group does the series belong to: Batman, Superman, DCU, Sandman Universe
| began_publication = Which month and year did the series begin: eg. January 1987 (if no month is given just note the year)
| ended_publication = Which month and year did the series end: eg. March 2018 (if no month is given just note the year)
| no_issues = How many issues did the series run (including Zero issues, 1,000,000 issues and .1 etc.) Note: only list the number of issues and only use if the series has ended
| no_annuals = How many annuals did the series have. Note: only use if the series has ended
| no_specials = How many specials did the series have Note: only list if directly linked to the main series and only use if the series has ended
| back-up_features = List any major back-up features in the series
| comments = Use comments for special information regarding the series, but use sparingly

| main_character = List the main featured character (or team) of the series
| main_character2 = In case the series have had more than one main featured character list as main_character2,3 etc.

Fields that are not used are just left blank.
