HISTORY

Voz was one of a handful of Green Lanterns who were captured by a malevolent alien race known as the Draal.

The Draal would clone the captured Green Lanterns, and take their power rings. A creature called a xanoglyph would be used to probe the Green Lantern's mind, transferring the thoughts and memories to the clone. The clone would then replace the Green Lantern in his/her/its home sector. When the Draal were ready, they would have the capability to strike on many worlds at one time. Apparently, the Draal kept the Green Lanterns alive in case of any unforeseen needs.

The Green Lanterns had given up hope of escape until they were joined by ex-Green Lantern Guy Gardner, who had just been captured by the Draal. They were caged by a high density neuron force field. Shortly, Gardner devised a plan of escape. The notion of escape was considered absurd by RRU-9-2. - Guy Gardner 11

The success or failure of Gardner's idea depended solely on RRU-9-2's participation. Bivvix, Gpaak, Graf Toren, Gardner, and Voz had to forcibly convince RRU-9-2 of the viability of their plan. During the course of the fight, Voz ripped RRU-9-2's head off. The Green Lanterns continued taking apart the robotic lifeform, to use against the force field. - Guy Gardner 12-13

Carrying RRU-9-2's battery cell, the gelatinous Gpaak carried the terminal to the force field holding them in their cell. Gpaak was blasted into globules when the force field shorted out, but was able to reconstitute himself. Together with Gardner, the Green Lanterns fought their Draal captors.

Soon, they were able to take control of the Draal ship. Unfortunately, Guy Gardner's clone had escaped with Guy's fully charged yellow power ring. RRU-9-2 was later reassembled. Following his request, the Green Lanterns left Guy Gardner on Earth to fight his clone. - Guy Gardner 13-14

Alongside Justice League America, Guy hammered away at his clone before triangulating the clone's location for transport. The clone was brought aboard the formerly Draal ship and stripped of its yellow power ring. The Qwardian ring was then sent to its rightful owner. The Green Lanterns headed out to get their power rings back from their own replicas. - Guy Gardner 15

Whether Voz retrieved his own power ring or not is unknown. Sometime later, Voz was caught by an interstellar slavery ring which specialized in Green Lanterns. Guy Gardner, now known as Warrior, rescued Voz and scores of other Green Lanterns. - Guy Gardner: Warrior #35

HISTORY TO BE ADDED - Green Lantern Vol. 3 #165 - 175

Following Hal Jordan's release from the control of Parallax, the Green Lantern Corps was restored. Voz and Lanterns old and new took part in the massive battle to stop the rampage of Superboy-Prime. - Infinite Crisis #7
