Wonder Woman's challenge continues. After defeating the Hydra she must escape from Morpheus' healing but eternal sleep. Her next challenge is Echidna who takes the form of Julia Kapatelis. When Diana is within her reach Echidna drops her disguise. Diana defeats the snake woman and plunges into the depths of a magical ocean where she finds the wreck of a World War II fighter plane and the woman who claims to be Diana's forerunner.
Queen Hippolyte decides that she must be with her daughter. Philippus tries to stop her from interfering with Diana's challenge. The two Amazons fight until Hippolyte knocks Philippus into a coma.
Etta Candy and Steve Trevor arrive in Oklahoma too late to be with his father. The elder Trevor passed away before they arrived.
