In Perdition's Pit where Hermes has imprisoned Phobos, Harmonia convinces the messenger of the gods that he must seek the mortal's forgiveness. Hermes goes to Boston to make amends. He uses his godly power to repair the damage caused by Ixion. Unfortunately, his pride and disdaining attitude persists. Even in the act of apologizing he manages to be condescending. Most offended is the Creeper. The yellow and green lunatic gives Hermes a beating while the god concentrates on restoring the city. Creeper is cheered on by the crowd. When Hermes finally loses his temper it is Princess Diana that stays his hand.
