OVERVIEW

Sheriff Law was an overzealous lawman of the small town of Seaside who enslaved the local teenagers until he was stopped by the Teen Titans.

HISTORY

Very little is known about Sheriff Law, the overzealous lawman of the small town of Seaside, a beach resort community for the wealthy. Responding to parents' concern regarding their unruly teenagers, Sherriff Law constructed a Behavior Modifier, a ray hidden in a bell tower that would pacify and control all teenagers. The Behavior Modifier did not work on everyone, and through a runaway and letters, word of the teenagers' plight finally reached the Teen Titans.

Investigating, the Teen Titans were taken into custody by Sheriff's Law's Enforcers and taken to his office, dubbed the Fortress of Justice. Meanwhile, the newly formed Injustice League had swapped bodies with the Justice League of America. Batman, Aquaman I and Flash II (in the bodies of the Penguin, Black Manta and Mister Element) sought out the Titans to ask for their help, but were attacked by the Titans, who were being mind-controlled by the enhanced Behavior Modifier. Breaking free from the mind control, the Titans temporarily worked alongside the "villains" to destroy the Behavior Modifier. A chain reaction destroyed the Fortress of Justice, and Sheriff Law and his Enforcers were taken into custody.

The current whereabouts of Sherrif Law remain unknown.

POWERS AND WEAPONS

Sherrif Law has no superhuman powers, but having received police training, he possesses average strength, agility, skills and marksmanship for a man his age. He has a robotic prosthetic right eye, but it is not known whether this gives him any advantages.

Sheriff Law uses many hi-tech devices, among them an electric stun gun. Another device he may (or may not) have constructed himself is the Behavior Modifier, a ray hidden in a bell tower which somehow is able to pacify and even mind control young people. It is not known whether this ray also works on grownups. His office, the so-called Fortress of Justice, is also equipped with advanced surveillance technology, and devices able to neutralize superpowered individuals.

Sheriff was aided by Enforcers, a heavily armed and armored elite force.
