HISTORY

The Zeta Beam is an invention of the scientist Sardath of the planet Rann, and is the only means for Earth hero Adam Strange to travel to his family on Rann. The beams were sent to Earth years in advance, but eventually Sardath improved on the Zeta-Beamer. Dubbed the Zeta Plus beamer, the invention sent the Zeta Beams through hyperspace to near-instantly reach Earth.

At first the effect of the Zeta Beams was temporary, but Sardath has recently developed an alternative, longer-lasting version, which pleased Adam greatly.
