Resistance on Aegri Somina THree

The Green Lantern power ring was ineffective against yellow skinned natives of the third planet. Realizing the tactical advantage, they began coloring their ships yellow. The resistance grew. Ayria had colossal weapons factories built which poisoned the planet. Millions were sent to the Paradise work camps and in turn the Reformation Chambers which stripped their will and fed it to Ayria's power battery.

Among the natives was Selaya, a member of the local rebellion who opposed Ayria's regime. In an act of desperate defiance, Selaya successfully infiltrated Ayria's inner circle by posing as his consort. She managed to steal his power ring while he slept and hid it by swallowing it.

Ayria tortured Selaya to discover the ring's location, but she remained silent, only speaking to falsely implicate others among Ayria's command staff. In his rage, Ayria ordered the execution of his own generals and comrades, and eventually sent the entire yellow-skinned race of the planet, including Selaya and her husband, Illiya, to Paradise One Reformation Camp where they were killed by a guard. Ayria orderd the extermination of all in the camps.

Months later, as Ayria toured the camp, his power battery sensed the proximity of the swallowed ring. The energy from the ring animated Selaya’s corpse, raising her and a horde of the undead to swarm and kill the despot, effectively liberating the system.[1]
