HISTORY

Arata is a world situated within Space Sector 650. The planet is home to a blue-skinned humanoid species. Arata features a dual-moon night sky and a civilization that heavily mirrors the architecture, fashion, and social structures of Earth's late 19th-century Victorian era. The extent of Arata's involvement with other worlds in its solar system or beyond is not known, though the planet was historically plagued by an otherworldly threat. The Longteeth, vampiric humanoids of unknown origin and followers of Starbreaker, preyed upon the people of Arata.

Attacked by the Longteeth

This reign of terror changed when a group of Longteeth raided a remote homestead, brutally slaughtering a farmer's wife in front of him. This act of violence sparked an unyielding crusade for vengeance. The widowed farmer was subsequently chosen by a power ring, becoming the Green Lantern known as Ash. On Arata of across the stars, Ash would hunt the Longteeth until all were exterminated.
