HISTORY

Axelbob III is a technologically advanced world located within Space Sector 3319. The planet is populated by a non-humanoid sentient species with a distaste of outsiders. This was put to the test during a period of intense, volatile sunspot activity. The solar radiation triggered a critical failure in the planet's advanced solar reactor, threatening a catastrophic malfunction capable of destroying the entire world. Facing total annihilation, the Axelbobians put out an emergency call for a Green Lantern answered by Earth-born Green Lantern Charlie Vicker. Utilizing his power ring, Vicker successfully contained the reactor and averted the global catastrophe. However, the rescue did nothing to change the cultural biases of the populace. As soon as the danger passed, the xenophobic natives completely rejected Vicker's attempts at peaceful contact. They demanded no further interaction, leaving Vicker to protect a sector that seemingly refused to accept his presence.
