Synopsis: - Superman comes to Gotham to ask for Batman's help in finding out the truth about a woman sentenced to die whom he believes may be innocent of the crime of killing a police officer. Their work uncovers the fact that she was guilty, but that there were extenuating circumstances. A reprieve is granted, but it is too late, Mallory Blair is already dead, having engineered a situation whereby the prison guards are forced to shoot her.
