HISTORY

Master physicist Chester P. Runk developed a machine which was able to transmit matter over vast distances. This machine imploded and became a part of his body, giving him both the ability and need to absorb matter and transmit it to other places. He was first encountered by Wally West, the Flash, in the guise of a villain, transmitting diamonds - and people - to another dimension. With the help of the Flash, Chunk realized he could use this ability for good, removing unwanted and/or dangerous substances from the Earth. He is now one of Wally's best friends.
