HISTORY
Clypta is a humanoid female from Thieves' System in Space Sector 2829. The circumstances of her death at the hands of Larfleeze and identity consumption as a member of the Orange Lantern Corps have not been revealed, it is likely an ill-advised trip to Okaara factored into the events.[1]
As a construct, Clytpa was utilized on several occasions to take whatever interest Larfleeze at any given moment. She was among the Orange Lantern Corps that attacked the planet Odym in an attempt to steal the Central Power Batterry of the Blue Lantern Corps.
Some time after the Blackest Night, Larfleeze had made a new enemy, {Sena the Wanderer. Clypta was brought back to life along with other Orange Lanterns to exact revenge on Larfleeze. Sena warned the resurrected they could remain among the living only if they succeeded in killing Larfleeze.[2]
Now operating as independent Orange Lanterns armed with their own power rings, the group sought vengeance, yet they hesitated to eliminate Larfleeze directly. Recognizing that Larfleeze had absorbed the energy of his entire Central Power Battery they agreed they needed to keep Larfleeze alive to maintain their own power rings, an idea the others accepted, deciding on enslavement and torture instead of death.[3]
Their plans were cut short once Larfleeze learned as he had created their power rings he could also reclaim them. Rather than killing them once more, Larfleeze simply stranded the powerless and seemingly helpless group on Unicorn 12. Fellow Lantern Warp Wrap professed his love for Clypta, though she only had eyes for Glomulus.[4]

During the event known as the Blackest Night, black rings descended on Okaara, Clypta returned as one of the Black Lantern Corps. Intent on destroying Larfleeze's orange Central Power Battery, the Black Lanterns were held at bay by Red Lantern Atrocitus and Blue Lantern Saint Walker.[5]
