HISTORY
In the universe containing Earth 11, the Green Lantern Patrolmen were established by the Patrons of the Pankosmos to embody as they saw the innate superiority of men. They believed emotion was a weakness and instilled a desire for expansion, conquest and battle.
On many worlds a "chosen son" was appointed as a Green Lantern Patrolman. On Earth 11, the chosen son was Hal Ferris.[1]
