HISTORY
Primeen, located in Space Sector 775, appeared culturally and technologically sophisticated. Beneath Primeen's polished exterior, the planet’s foundations rotted. Over decades, a systemic infection of corruption took hold, transforming the Legators, the planet’s prestigious circle of judges, into tools for the wealthy. Justice was no longer a right, but a commodity sold to the highest bidder among the planetary nobility. Sheko, one of the few remaining Legators who served the codes of impartial law, became a target of the very system she served. During a high-profile trial involving the royal family, Sheko was betrayed and mortally wounded. She rose as a Red Lantern and a vessel of retribution.

Now empowered, Sheko passed judgement, setting the city afire. Her intense rage drew differing factions of the Red Lantern Corps who sought to align this powerful new Lantern to their side.[1] Sheko found she could not judge Atrocitus and following her rampage needed to judge her own actions. To understand her role as a Red Lantern she opted to leave Primeen with the Lanterns aligned with Guy Gardner.[2]
In the aftermath of Sheko's destruction, Gardner and his Red Lanterns offered to help the survivors of Primeen rebuild and secure their world, however, they too were feared. The citizens of Primeen requested the Red Lanterns leave their world.[3]
