- The story presumably begins in the present in the "New 52" version of the "DC Universe" then carrying over to Star Trek's "Kelvin Timeline," first introduced in the 2009 "Star Trek" movie. As this story picks up on Stardate 2262.67, it is placed after the 2013 movie Star Trek Into Darkness Stardate 2259.55.
