Syracuse Blue is a planet situated within Space Sector 1817. There is currently no documented information regarding this world, though it appears to be populated by a humanoid race with advanced technology.

Events on their home planet of Ysmault caused Red Lanterns across the universe to become severely weakened and dying. During this period of vulnerability, the Red Lantern of Sector 1817 was cornered by attackers.

The battle’s outcome shifted instantaneously when the Red Lantern Central Power Battery was restored to its full potency. Now empowered by a surge of rekindled rage, the Red Lantern showed no mercy to his former attackers.
