It just occurred to me after creating this page: should we merge the pages Qwardians and Weaponers of Qward, and change the links to "Qwardian Thunderers", "Thunderers" and "Thunderers of Qward"? Doug86 (talk) 17:12, 9 September 2025 (UTC)

Weaponers and Qwardians should be separate pages, in that Qwardians are the species. While they may be best known as the Weaponers of Qward, that's the group/team and arguably more merits a chronology, starting with Yokal the Atrocious from Green Lantern Vol. 2 #75.

At some point I'd like to go through the indexes to differentiate between the different castes, Weaponers vs. Thunderers, starting from the first appearance of Qward. Using Busiek's "Syndicate Rules" JLA #107-JLA #113 as the guidepost to determine which team of Qwardians we were seeing. (I take it Qwardian Destroyers were also Thunderers, as over time the Thunderers had been relegated into a subservient position by the Weaponers and were treated as their expendable army)

Similar thoughts with Thanagarians (species) / Wingmen (team) / Hawk Police (team) and Maltusians (species) / Oans (species) / Guardians (team) / Controllers (species and team) / Zamarons (species and team). --DRMOUSE2814 (talk) 03:48, 10 September 2025 (UTC)
