HISTORY
The Hidden Ones are nine brothers and sisters of their fellow Oans, the Guardians of the Universe. Billions of years ago, they sacrificed themselves to be entombed in the Chamber of Shadows as guards of the First Lantern. The Guardians then set the Manhunters upon the universe.
Billions of years later, the Guardians returned to the Chamber and took the First Lantern by force, killing Reegal in the process. The Guardians then sealed the eight remaining Hidden Ones within the Chamber of Shadows, to use the First Lantern to create the Third Army.[1]
