HISTORY
Xrexx is a member of the Apex League, a coalition of cosmic survivors. While his full history remains shrouded in mystery, like his comrades Xrexx hails from a world ravaged by the Paling. As the "Church of Nothingness" systematically erased civilizations, these survivors sought the strength to retaliate, eventually aligning themselves with Mongul aboard his formidable battle station, Warworld.[1]
Manipulated by Mongul into viewing Sinestro as a galactic threat, the Apex League provided the tactical edge needed to overwhelm the Yellow Lantern.[2] However, the tide turned when the Sinestro Corps arrived to liberate their leader. During the chaos, Xrexx fell under the hypnotic influence of the New God Bekka. Compelled by her power, he turned his energies against Mongul, contributing to the tyrant's downfall. In a final, cold calculation, Sinestro used a defeated Mongul and shattered power rings as bait to lure the Paling, casting the former ruler into the void with Xrexx and the League in pursuit to finally face their true tormentors.[3]
