Synopsis:

Capturing some hijackers, Hawkman's JSA colleagues note that he seems somewhat tense and preoccupied. Meanwhile, Hawkgirl tracks down Speed Saunders to see if he has any information about her parents' death long ago in the city of St. Roch. She heads that way and asks the curator of the museum for the whereabouts of one Danny Evans. She has little luck until Hawkman arrives, clued in to her whereabouts by Speed. It transpires that Danny Evans, the son of the curator had warned Hawkgirl's parents that their lives were in danger shortly before their deaths. And now he, on an expedition in India, thinks he is being followed. The Hawks head out to India, after a brief interruption from a local hitman, Hawkgirl making it quite plain that they are working together as partners, nothing more.
